Arupadai Veedu

In the Tirumurugatrupadai of Saint poet Nakkirar, six spots in the Tamil lands were mentioned as the Holy Kshetras for the worship of Lord Murugan also known as Subhramanya. These six locations came to be known as The Arupadai Veedu or the 6 Holy Abodes of Lord Murugan. Each abode has a story to tell - On this journey, we recount Lord Murugan’s tales of wit, warfare, marriage and wisdom. The Lord of the hills and the enchanter of Tamil women folk, Murugan is extolled through verses and celebrated through music and dance.
